Leaving for Vietnam and China in a week. Please critique my itinerary.

Let me preface by saying I know this is a lot to do within this short time frame, however as someone who works I really can’t afford to much time off ☹

With that being said, I have a rough idea of what I want to do in both china and Vietnam. However, people of the solotravel reddit, could you please critique my itinerary and let me know if there’s any recommendations for improvements I can make to my itinerary?

Arrive Monday 4/29 to Shanghai 6:00 PM

Airport stuff

Travel to hotel

Check in to hotel, get situated around 8:00 PM

Dinner at the bund, probably Hakkasen or Lost heaven Bar

Afterwards head to a craft beer place maybe close by or somewhere not too far off, I’ve been hearing a lot about Boxing Cat Brewery but if anyone has better recommendations please let me know 😊

Wake up whenever I want 4/30

Din tai Fung

Yu Garden

French Concession

Weixiangxai (for the noodles that the food ranger likes)

(all of these things in no particular order)

End of day.

Wake up early 5/1

Check out of hotel

Hangzhou? Is this possible to do a day trip (preferably 8am-6pm?)

If the above isn’t possible

Shanghai museum,

Nanjing Road,

Eat Chinese bbq/duck from a restaurant

Moganshan Lu

K-Town

(obviously this day is a cluster of activities, but can anyone recommend top things I should focus my time on? I need to be done and back at my hotel by no later than 6:00 PM so I have about 10ish hours here.)

Leave Shanghai 5/1 at 9:10 head to hong kong. Get on airport express to head to hotel. I’ll probably be at the hotel around 1:30AM on 5/2. Is there anything to do at this time? I’m pretty sure most of the bars will be closed but are there any sights you would be able to recommend to do at this time? Google hasn’t been as fruitful as I would’ve wished

5/2

Wake up

Eat and sight see in Hong Kong until about 2:00 PM. Head to Airport to leave to vietnam

5/2

Arrive in Hanoi at night. (7:00 PM)

Get to hotel around 9:00 pm

Eat somewhere around there.

Bruhaus beer house for night cap

5/3

I honestly no Idea what I should dedicate this day to. This is my final day in Hanoi, so if there was one must see thing to do would anyone have recommendations?

5/4

Leave Vietnam 10:00 am, make it back to shanghai around 7:00 pm. Rest at hotel all day.

5/5

Must leave for airport around 8:00 pm. Really have nothing planned this day.

I would appreciate all the help guys :) and if anyone else's travel dates coincide with mine I'm more than happy to meet up. 24/M/US if it matters.
