If you're staying in a hostel, please don't chat in the dorm no matter what
Hello guys
I just wanna say something has been bothering me almost my whole trip in Japan.
I just got back from my first solo trip which was to Japan. I had a magical time there and such a great experience that I never thought it'd suit me but damn I'm traveling solo from now on.
During my trip I was staying in hostels since Japan is known for their good hostels. Not because only to save money but I wanted to meet people who have the same mentality and even more experienced than I am.
Anyways, during my trip almost everyday in hostels I woke up to someone talking on the phone or just 2 people chatting at 9 in the morning when they know everyone can hear them. I mean why? You're not living alone in the dorm and unlike snoring, there's actually something you can do here. I mean for God's sake I once woke up to a couple arguing about something WHILE OTHERS WERE SLEEPING.
Even if it's not a sleeping time try not to do it either. Some people wanna lay on their bed in peace and have a quiet time. Don't ruin that for them please when you can easily do it somewhere else.
