I know it's too early, but I need some insight on where I should go for Christmas.
Hi guys, I finally saved up enough money to go on a solo trip during the month of December. I was thinking of two places: New York City or Chicago. I just can't decide where to go. I made a list of pros and cons for each.
Going to New York
Pros
- Most people say Christmas in New York is wonderful compared to other cities.
- I've been there before so I am familiar with the place. I won't get lost.
- I get the chance to visit places I wasn't able to visit on my last trip to NYC.
- I guess flying with Jetblue airlines is a pro.
Cons
- I've been there before so it won't be that much of a new experience for me.
- I can only stay there for about 4 days because of budget.
- Expensive.
Going to Chicago
Pros
- Never been to Chicago so it will be a new experience for me.
- I can stay in Chicago for a week.
- Chicago is closer to where I live so flight times are shorter.
- Hotels are significantly cheaper than NYC.
Cons
- Most people say Chicago is better during spring or fall.
- It will be cold.
- I most likely will be flying with United. :(
