Help me plan my first 3 week solo trip (Thinking SE Asia this June)
25 yo (M) I have around a month of free time this June in between jobs and want to plan my first solo trip. Pretty well travelled in Europe and South America so was thinking SEA to try somewhere new. I'm very social and so to be honest going somewhere with a good party scene is important as I want to meet new people. Don't need to be in a party centric area/hostel but definitely want to be in a hostel with other solo travelers looking to meet up / go out. Also budget not an issue but logistically coming from US East Coast.
Example of ideas I've had so far:
- Bali (Specifically Canggu - surf/scuba/beach/party)
- Koh Samui (Have looked at some Muay Thai camps here) + Other areas of Thailand.
Would any of these ideas be fun for 2-3 weeks? One or the other? Both? I'm very open to additional suggestions in other areas of SEA and if I should completely bag those ideas above for something else I am totally open minded to any and all advice.
