Hey everyone,

Longtime reddit viewer who finally made an account for the purpose of this post. If I'm at the wrong place please delete and let me know where i should go, ok here goes. I'm set to graduate College in December and I always thought i would go to europe or something but that is way out of my price range so i want to plan an incredible road trip. My mom took me on a road trip when I was 16 and we went through colorado, wyoming, montana, utah, arizona and back home to oklahoma. It was an amazing trip that I didn't appreciate it at the time and now I'm itching to see everything and more this time. I'll be leaving from Oklahoma and going up through Colorado to begin, I basically want to do the same trek but definitely add several stops like Crater lake or anywhere cooler than that in oregon, yosemite and LA, along with the hoover dam and definitely want to hit roswell on the way home. I love seeing quirky stops and what not so please let me know where i should stop.

Also: My girlfriend of almost four years will be traveling with me and she hates long car rides but she's going to be a trooper for me so if there is stops that is targeted specifically for the gentler sex please let me know (e.g. Texas tulips or something like that)
