I'm a 21 year old male from the Netherlands with a dream of traveling the world. I don't have many friends and of the few I have none of them either have the time or money to travel. For a while now I have thought about pursuing my dream by starting off with my first solo travel trip to Spain/Italy/Greece/Egypt area.

I'm a go-with-the-flow kinda guy who loves an adventure and mainly looking to do sight-seeing, enjoying the weather, do some clothes shopping and going out at night to maybe do a little drinking. I would love to meet new people along my travels.

My question is what are some tips & tricks for first time solo traveling? Looking for things relevant to; how to plan what things to do, budget - like what can I save money on, what kind of transportation to use in cities/how to get through the airport easily. I'm used to being just by myself for long periods of time, but I'm still a little afraid of getting to feel lonely. So what recommendations/suggestions would you guys give me?
