First time solo travel - Rome
Hello everybody!
I just booked flight tickets to Rome in July and I am super excited as this will be my first solo trip ever.
I have few questions:
- Are there any no-go zones I should avoid?
- I plan on booking guided tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica for 56 euro. It says that tour takes around 3 hours for a tour. Isn't that a bit too fast? I always thought that it would take half a day at least.
- What are good places to eat around the city? Any good pubs for solo travelers?
- What to do? Of course I will plan on visiting the most famous places but are there any other interesting places that not many people heard about? Stuff like abandoned buildings/street art/etc.
Thank you all in advance!
Peace!
