I'm going to Bratislava in the beginning of July this year and I'm super excited! I've been solo travelling before, but I always stayed in hotels. I wanted to try my hand at a hostel since it's a more social experience it seems and I enjoy meeting new people. It's making me a bit nervous though for some reason, so I want to be well-informed. What are some things you look out for in a hostel, like pros and cons, red flags, types of hostel, etc?

Also if you have any recommendations for a hostel in Bratislava that's more than welcome!
