Canada wide solo trip; Help me choose some cities!
Hey guys!
As the title suggests, I am planning a Canada wide trip. I plan to visit the main capital/city of every province. I have these in mind:
Newfoundland and Labrador: Saint John’s
Nova Scotia: Halifax
PEI: Charlottetown
New Brunswick: Moncton or Fredericton?
Manitoba: Winnipeg
Saskatchewan: Regina or Saskatoon?
Alberta: Edmonton or Calgary?
Places I’m also thinking of adding to the list:
Northwest Territories: Yellowknife Yukon: Whitehorse
Yay or nay for these two?
Duration of stay: 3-4 nights. If there is a city I should stay longer because it’s just awesome, or shorter because I may get bored, please tell me!
Provinces not mentioned: I’ve already went there/live there.
As you guys can see for NB, Alberta and Saskatchewan, I’m not sure which city to choose. Which of the two cities above has a bigger population, is more alive, has hotter women to meet (lol), and it just more touristic to enjoy myself?
The only exception is maybe NB: I might visit both cities as they are pretty close to each other.
Budget: Not much of a problem, but I don’t want to splash money like a madman. What areas in such cities should I focus on staying for good food, lodging (Airbnb), malls, and views?
Finally, I am starting east and going west. For NL in particular, I plan to visit in July. How is the weather during that time period?
If there is a city other than the main capitals I should visit instead, please tell me!
Thanks!
