Hi guys,

Traveling from Boston to Greensboro, NC and then back in a few weeks, looking for some route help.

I'm perfectly confident going there, I-90-> 84, fight thru NY and NJ, then 95 all the way to Richmond, and then 85 down to Greensboro.

Coming back I will be towing a 2 axle U-Haul trailer, so I need a little guidance on the route to take. I don't want to go over the GW bridge, since the toll will be nuts and it also sucks in a car, let alone with a trailer. I can't tell if I can take the Garden State Parkway north of the I-95 interchange up to 287 and over the Tappen Zee. Done that in a car plenty, and I like the route.

If anyone has any insight into how to deal with the NYC area, I'm all ears.
