Best/chillest places to travel solo to in SE Asia (as a 25 year old female)?
Hi everyone! I'm a medical school student doing a research project in Thailand for 2 weeks in June this upcoming summer, and have a completely unstructured 4-5 weeks after that to do solo travel within SE Asia. The catches are: I'm a 25 yo female traveling solo and I mostly just want to study in some cafes while catching some beautiful views of new places. Ideally, I'd intermittently study while doing some light sight-seeing. Hoping for a quantity over quality thing where I country-hop without doing a huge amount of sight-seeing (counter-intuitive, but I really do just want to study).
The countries that I've been tentatively thinking about are: Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. I was hoping to get any suggestions on countries/cities to go and activities to do to that meet the following criteria: budget friendly, English-speaking friendly, easy to get around, solo female traveller friendly, and have plenty of internet access spots (I'm willing to bypass unbelievable but hard-to-get-to nature sites in favor of cities that have abundant study cafes and a major international airport). Literally ANY advice would be much appreciated! Thanks :)
