Airbnb, Grab and what not to do in Thailand?
Staying for a week in Thailand (Hua Hin majority of the time and 2 nights in Bangkok)
I’m from the Philippines and decided to book an AirBnB for my 2 nights in Bangkok, but after reading a few articles, I’ve been seeing conflicting information on the legality of operating an airbnb and staying in one.
So my question is, should I cancel my airbnb reservation? Worst case scenario is trouble with the condo staff when they see an obvious tourist trying to stay in a residential condo, especially if the host only leaves the condo keys somewhere for me to locate.
Second, is Grab allowed?
And lastly, what are the customs I should be careful of in Thailand? Like appropriate clothing, handling money (I’ve read that they’re particular with how the money is placed, like face first on the notes) and haggling?
Thank you for your time answering my queries! Much appreciated :)
