Working Holiday in New Zealand: What are my options for work?
TLDR; What job opportunities are there for work in new Zealand? Is it easy for a working holiday-er to find a job? Is a working holiday a good way to travel around New Zealand? Are there other options for me to travel to New Zealand that aren't too expensive? Are there any jobs for immigrants if I'm willing to work there for a year or longer?
I'm a Mexican citizen and the application date for a working holiday visa for New Zealand is going to open soon on March 21. I'm considering applying, but I might have to wait until next year after I save up a little more money. For Mexico, there are 200 spots only. I'm currently 25 years old, but I will turn 26 soon but I can do a working holiday there until I turn 30. I currently live and work in China as an English teacher but I've always enjoyed traveling and I've been funding my travels by moving around different countries and working there (so far only as an English teacher). Has anyone done a working holiday in New Zealand before? If so, what kind of work did you do there?
I do know a lot of work is in agriculture, which I'm only partially familiar with. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and I can speak a little French, Arabic and Mandarin Chinese (though the last two are terrible tbh).
