Which cities are best for solo/better with friends?
I started solo traveling just because planning with other people can be difficult, especially since I am in grad school and limited to school breaks. But as I daydreamingly look at Kayak Explore, I wonder which cities I should put on hold until I get a chance to go with others. I feel comfortable doing most activities alone, except when it comes to nightlife. If I go visit bars alone I don't talk to others (unless I'm on a brewery tour), and I definitely won't go to a club alone. Are there any cities really not worth the trip if you can't fully enjoy the nightlife?
Note: I am also a female traveler, so safety concerns are also a factor.
