Traveling to India and Nepal soon, need some help with the itinerary
Hey Guys, i'll be traveling to India this May, and i am stumped about managing time. I will be arriving in Delhi on the 10th of May, and my return flight is on the 28th. I already have a ticket from Delhi to Kathmandu purchased for the day of my Arrival.
now, i Have two options:
1: spend 4 days in Kathmandu, and then grab a bus to Varanasi, spend 2-3 days there, grab a train to Agra, spend 1 day there, 3 days in Jaipur, 4 days in Delhi and go back home.
2: Spend 5-6 days in Kathmandu, grab a plane back to Delhi, do the Golden triangle from there (6 days in Delhi, 4 days in Jaipur, 1 day in Agra and 2 more days in Delhi before my trip back home).
Option no.1 will allow me to visit Varanasi, but the bus ride from Kathmandu to Varanasi is 23 hours, hence, i will have less time to spend in Jaipur and Delhi, also, going back via plane will allow me to spend some more time in Nepal.
What do you think is a better option?
