Southern US ideas for a we'll and a half from the Florida keys to Texas?
Hey y'all, in early May my husband and I have about a week and half to get back to Texas from the Florida keys. We've planned the way out along the coast, but are looking for interesting things to do on the way back. We have a national parks pass and will probably want to come back along the Natchez Trace and hit New Orleans, but the in between is wide open. We like hiking, history, and fun museums and are not afraid of packing on the miles. We plan on car camping most of the time, but would shell out for a cool place. Would love suggestions for cool spots to visit and places to stay!
