Hey everyone!

Long time lurker on this subreddit and I've recently made the decision to make my first solo trip out to Medellin, Colombia.

I was planning to venture out there for a week during my birthday in late April, which is where my concerns come up.

After doing some research, I see that April is during the rainy season in Medellin. Which means it may be difficult to venture out and explore the city like I intend to.

Would visiting in late April really mean a constant downpour of rain or do you think it could be manageable?

Should I opt to go the last week of March instead?
