SEA: how to choose season you're travelling in?
I'm planning to go to SEA next year, but I cannot decide which months exactly! All the sites say something different about climate since it's such a big continent. So I figured maybe someone here could be of help... I am looking at all the different monsoon seasons and am getting kinda lost.
To give you an idea: I was in Hong Kong in June a few years ago and I would not like for it to be hotter than that, because that was already pretty hot and humid! But I also remember it being 39 degrees one day, which was ok in the shade but way too hot in the sun or if you wanted to hike for a longer period of time.
My preference is to go sometime between January and May and stay about 3 months. So does anyone have any tips? I don't really mind rain, as long as it doesn't rain the whole day.
