Planned My Grand Europe Tour - Need Advice!
In a quick glance I will fly from Canada to Portugal and explore the Azores and Porto. Fly to Germany and bike over from Passau to Vienna along the Danube. Chill for a few days in Vienna and then take the train to Dolomites in Italy and spend a week hiking. Then take a train to Venice, chill, and take the train to Slovenia. Then fly to Bosnia and spend some time in Sarajevo and Mostar. Then fly to Oslo and do the Oslo - Bergen train. Fly back to Canada.
I am hoping to start my trip mid-June and finish in 1.5 - 2 months.
Questions:
- How does the itinerary sound?
- Has anyone done the Pasasu - Vienna bike trip? Any advice?
- What's the best way to go from Venice to Ljubljana?
- How best do I spend my time on Slovenia? I am not a big fan of touristy places so I was hoping to skip Lake Bled. I've heard Soca is nice. Maybe go rafting or rent a boat or something?
- Is immigration harsh at the Bosnia border?
- What are the best less-touristy things to do between Oslo and Bergen?
