Hello all, just above is a little road trip I have planned for that I and my best friend are planning to take. In the trip above the Redwood National Forest is the main attraction but the general exploration of California is also a goal.

But I would like to ask a few questions. First, where would be good places to stop and rest? Like how far should we drive each day? We are planning to buy tents so we wouldn't mind sleeping in a campground. Speaking about driving, is driving the Pacific Highway in Late September/ early October good? Lastly, how much would you estimate that this trip is going to take?
