Itinerary help needed. Thailand for 22 days.
I'm heading to Thailand on April 3 - 24. I cannot go up north due to the bad air quality unfortunately, so will be spending my time in Bangkok and the south. There are a couple places that I feel like I must see, and I need help planning how to get to all these places in the most efficient way (in terms of travel time and costs).
I want a mix of sightseeing, a little bit of relaxing and a few parties here and there. I don't really like diving (I can't swim), so I was thinking..
Day 1 - Arrive in BKK airport, stay for the night
Day 2 - Sleeper train to Surat Thani
Day 3-8 - Koh Phangan for the half moon party, and a day trip to Koh Tao (should I stay a 1-2 nights there instead)
Day 9-16 - So this is where I am very unsure. But I want to see Similan Islands, Khao Sak National Park and stay in Krabi for several days. Do a few day trips from Krabi. How do I go about this? I also need to travel back to Bangkok so a sleeper train again probably
Day 16 onwards - Bangkok
I'm also open to changing some places especially Koh Phangan and Koh Tao since I don't do diving but half moon party seems interesting and not as crazy as FMP so I might like it. I was also thinking of booking only the first 2 accommodations and decide on the way, but I would still like to have a concrete plan so that it's easier to decide when I'm there.
