Have two days to kill solo, and was hoping to get out of London to a) not spoil all of the sites to see as company will be arriving and b) dodge the surge pricing of London hostels on the weekend.

My plan right now seems to be Brighton, but is there two days worth of things to do? It will be a Friday + Saturday so strong nightlife would be ideal. But in April so not exactly beach weather.

Any other suggestions?
