I'm 19 and I have been saving up money for about a year for a trip by myself . All of my friends are in school and dont have the time or money to travel right now. I am completely okay going by myself because I'm sure I'll meet people abroad. My parents have given in to me traveling and want me to go on a contiki tour, its 26 days (a planned group tour) across europe which sounds great but it is quite expensive. While I do have enough to do it, I would rather not spend every bit of my savings. Going to thiland by myself will save lots of money and I think I'll have just as much fun. They Think Thailand is to dangerous and I will be robbed, kidnapped or killed. I have an idea of a budget but would like to get people's ideas on what they have budgeted for similar trips in SEA.

TL;DR My parents want me to go on an expensive trip to Europe I want to go to Thailand for a month
