Hostel recommendations in Mexico-City
Hi everyone! So I’ll be traveling to Mexico-City for the very first time and I’m going alone (23F), I’ll be there for from Thursday-Sunday in April. I’m wanting to stay at a hostel since I’ll be traveling alone and that way I can meet people and possibly do group stuff with!!
So I’ve looked all over reddit and I’ve seen some great recommendations but I guess my main question is, which hostel (in your experience) is the best for organizing group activities. I’m heavily thinking of staying at Suites DF Hostel bc so far I’ve seen that they’re the one that organizes stuff like group walking trips and a lucha libre night on Fridays (very much looking forward to that). My MAIN places to visit are: •The anthropology museum •Pyramids •Lucha Libre
Everything else, is exploring the town!
I don’t care for company at the museum since I enjoy them alone but the other two, I’d like some company which is why I’m wanting a hostel that makes an effort with activities.
I’m not too concerned about safety, I travel to Mexico all the time (Veracruz) and other border towns (I’m from Texas) or getting around since I speak fluent Spanish and there’s Uber.
I just want hostel recommendations for group activities and meeting new people that aren’t like “party” ones. I don’t care much for the 2 am party/music ones.
Thank y’all so much!!!
