I'm going to be travelling to Paris soon, on a flight scheduled to arrive at Charles de Gaulle Airport at 7 am on a weekday. I've done this previously, and ended up in a two hour traffic jam when I caught a taxi into the 16th arrondissement.

I'd prefer to catch the RER into the city and transfer to the Metro to complete the trip to the 16th arrondissement, but am a bit worried about trying this at peak hour with a large suitcase. Has anyone successfully tried this, or have a better idea?
