Eurail passes now covers Great Britain, Macedonia, and Lithuania for 2019!
i Just wanted to let everyone know that a number of changes have been made for the 2019 eurail pass including added coverage for Great Britain, Macedonia, and Lithuania. There are a couple other things, but this is the biggest.
Thought I'd make this post because I am planning on leaving on a 55 day eurotrip on April 16 and I was just doing the math to see if it was worth getting a eurail global pass as opposed to buying individual tickets. Now that Great Britain is covered, there is absolutely no question that the Eurail global pass is the cheaper option (I'm spending 2 weeks there). Train travel in Britain is ridiculously expensive. I was moments away from buying all the tickets individually until i came across a targeted instagram ad, of all things, that covered all the new things about eurail in 2019.
