Dining at a fancy restaurant alone?
Hi all!
Im visiting Prague next week, and since it’s such an affordable city (compared to where I live), I thought it would be nice to reserve a meal one night at a nice restaurant.
I called and made the reservation today, and when I said it would be for 1 person, there was a pause followed by “Um...Okay.” Then he made another remark or two that made me a little uncomfortable. He wasn’t rude by any means, it just made me second guess my choice and wonder if the whole evening will be full of staff and others making it feel odd? Is it considered impolite to take up a table for just one person at a nice restaurant?
I’m sure some of you have gone to nice restaurants alone before, how did it go? Was it worth it?
I chose Kampa Park Restaurant if anyone’s been or has other suggestions.
