Cambodia islands - Koh Rong or Koh Rong Samloem for the solo Traveller? And budget hotel suggestions for your favourite of the two
I think I’m leaning towards KRS this Monday based on feedback I’ve gotten from travelers I’ve met in the past week in Siem Reap ... and then maybe trying a day to Koh Rong from there to see if I like it
From what I can gather;
Koh Rong - a party island and a bit dirty beach wise
KRS - more chilled and cleaner
Looking for budget hotel suggestions for your fav of the two 👌😎
Places I’ve loved in the past 3 months: Koh Tao and Hoi An (to give you an idea of my tastes .... an over 30s chilled vibe with nice food and cool beach bars)
I’m open to a private room in a Poshtel type place too. Mad Monkey on KRS doesn’t seem to have any
And is it still the case there’s no ATM machine and sporadic WiFi on either island so to prepare accordingly?
