Solo cause I've no other choice?
Hi there!
So, I wanna take a vacation of around 2 weeks~ before I'm starting university this July. (I'm 22)
The problem is, family can't join me this year,
and all my friends are either on a different mindset than me (which will probably won't be really fun travelling with),
or just, can't join.
So, I'm 'stuck' with the idea of going solo.
I've read a lot on this sub, and I've read different kind of 'reactions' to solo travelling.
People that really enjoy solo travelling, that are really enthusiastic about it,
people that make new friends everywhere, people that found it lonely, etc.
My question is, is going solo because you have no other choice,
even though you don't feel like that's the best
(honestly, I'm kind of scared just thinking about it, like, doing everything solo for 2 weeks),
gonna work out?
Or should I just ditch the idea and wait for some other opportunity where family/friends could join me?
I feel like it is a big decision, because I don't wanna regret not going and feeling like I missed out, especially being my age.
p.s
If I'm gonna travel solo, I'm not gonna stay at a hostel (and meet people that way),
for some personal reasons~
Thank you ! :)
