Short Term Male Solo Trip
29/M/Houston/Texas/USA w/valid passport, global entry, and 2 airports within uber distance
Due to my 2 weeks on 1 week off (Wednesday-Tuesday) work schedule I have a lot of off time at my job I tend to have a lot of days off where normal people work and I’m left doing nothing but working out and playing video games for 5/7 of my days off. I get roughly 9-10 of these breaks that go unplanned and I'm tired of wasting these days. All of my friends are locked down, living in 9 different cities in 6 years has left me behind the relationship ball. So I am single looking for some travel ideas.
I have a lot of downtime at my job; so I tend to sit behind a monitor and google map travel, and get "this won't be fun by myself" cold feet and x out. Not to be too general I like everything from skiing British Columbia, to Milan during fashion week. I'd rather stay in a more developed city, plan would be Airbnb/hotel staying.
My question is what are fun places/activities/travel tips I should be looking at for travel both domestically and abroad? I only speak English and very broken German. I make decent money, have my life "semi" together, and I’m your typical millennial single male. Thanks for your time, and have a great weekend!
