Orlando to DC - What Do?
Hey all!
I'm planning a road trip for my D&D group to check out MAGFest 2020 in National Harbor, MD, and had a couple questions. Forgive me if I'm in the wrong sub.
- I'm a Florida native, so driving in ice/snow is completely foreign to me. Do I need to do anything specific to prepare for this or will it be a relative non-issue as long as I drive safely?
- We'll likely cruise the 95 the whole way; anything worth seeing on the way? Last time I drove 95 was hightailing out of Parris Island and I never looked back, so I have no idea if the world's largest ball of yarn is on the way.
- What's cool in DC that isn't the worn-out tourist/nation's capitol stuff? Anything? If not, we'll likely head to Baltimore for one or two of the days. We'll be in town from Dec 28-Jan 3 so we have time to check stuff out.
