Mid July or early October for 1.5 weeks, looking for your suggestions!
About Me:
-
Flying out of Calgary, Canada
-
24 Year old male, solo traveler
-
Will be staying in primarily hostels but like to mix it up with a hotel/Air BNB if my budget allows for it
-
Not heavily into nightlife/partying more into architecture and history, meeting people, and walking the city
Where I've Been:
- Western Europe (UK, Germany, France, Ireland, Amsterdam)
- Eastern/Central Europe (Prague - multiple times!)
Climate:
- I'm not particularly picky about climate
Budget:
-
Assuming I go for 9 days I'd like the round-trip flight from Calgary to be <$700 unless the city/area is really cheap
-
$150/day for budget (including accommodation)
-
So for the total trip around $2000 max
Preferred Locations:
-
English speaking countries primarily
-
Where other solo travelers like to go
-
Not picky on whatever continent but I might be limited with my flight budget - a cool American city/area would be nice, as would somewhere in Canada
I know flights are generally cheaper and theres less tourists in October so I wouldn't mind suggestions for either time of year based on your guys experiences, I'd love to hear them
