I need talking out of or into my silly ideas..
**Sorry for info I missed, I'm totally new to all this. I'm [25F], boyfriend is [22M] both from UK**
So after years of dealing with debt, mental illness and a crumbling relationship I'm desperate to just head off to the other end of the world, get away from everything negative and start doing the things I really enjoy.
Unfortunately all of the above is still very much relevant and I have thoughts every other day of just packing a bag and booking a flight. The debt right now is the main thing holding us back, being able to get out and see the world would probably be extremely beneficial for the other things so I want to get an idea of how feasible my daydreams really are. Essentially, could I find work easily enough to carry on paying my debts whilst travelling, either alone or with my other half? We're trying to sort things out between us and have always planned to go travelling together.
First stop would be New Zealand or Australia for around 6 months, has anyone got any advice or stories of how easy it was to find work out there, how quickly you started, what sort of wage could you earn? I'd be quite happy just working full time for a few months or more to start with just to get away from everything at home. I've wanted to travel for so long, I don't want to be held back any longer!
