Got stolen an expensive camera. Never get too confident
So, yeah, I just realized my 1000€ digital reflex camera is gone from my backpack.
The backpack traveled in the cargo compartment of a night bus to Saigon. At arrival, at 4 am, when I collected the bag I did not check whether the camera was there or not. Then I walked to my hotel, and left the backpack in there (just besides reception desk as they do not have a storage room) for some hours until the check in time.
I told the story to the guys in the hotel and we checked the CCTV recordings. There's 7h of CCTV camera to check but, in fairness, I do not think it happened here. And I am not in the mood of not sleeping so I can check the whole stupid recording. I am pretty sure it happened in the bus. Somebody leaving the bus during one of the stops might have opened the bag and take it.
I am so fucking stupid for not taking the camera with me while on the bus. I am so stupid for not even setting the padlock on the backpack. Fuck. But I did not even think about it when I put the camera on the backpack!
This is the shit that happens when one gets overconfident. Now back to reality with no camera for my trip to Cambodia and the pain of losing a new fucking camera due to my imbecility
