So I'm male, 21 years old from the UK. Been through a lot of shit recently so just want to get away. Gonna give it a go after thinking about it for a while. Thinking Amsterdam for 3 days in a hostel for my first trip.

Got a few worries though. Mainly not being able to talk to anyone due to the inevitable anxiety I'll be feeling. I'd be on Tinder just in case.

But other than that, how do you meet people once you're there as a young guy? I've been out before and linked with random people on my own after losing friends, but I was very very drunk every time. I'm not sure I'd have the courage to tag along with random strangers while sober, especially in a new country.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
