First-time solo travel in Thailand and Cambodia tips?
Hey guys!
In 2 days I'm off to Thailand and Cambodia for 10 days, and this will be the first time I've done any solo traveling, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some tips and advice? I'm an Australian, 20-year-old male, and have been traveling for 2 months with my best mate in Europe, but doing the last 10 days of my trip solo while he goes back to work. I'm in London at the moment, flying into Bangkok then up to Chiang Mai, then back to Bangkok and from there I go to Siem Reap for the final days.
I have little to no plans at the moment. I'm doing the Nature Elephant Park for 2 days in Chiang Mai, and want to do a day in Angkor Archaeological Site. Other than that, I'm open to suggestions!
I've got 3 days in Chiang Mai (plus 2 at the Elephant Park), and 3 days in Siem Reap.
I've been to Thailand before so do have a reasonable understanding of what to expect, but have only been to Bangkok and Phuket.
I'm not too much of an outgoing, social person so I'm open to tips on what to do when you're alone for 10 days!
