I will be doing a solo trip to Thailand for a week or two in July. I have no idea where to start, and it'll be my first time doing a solo trip. Any tips for this? I can't decide if I want to book a tour, or book everything myself.

If I go the hostel route, would love to hear specific hostels great for solo travelers.

I'm 34F, asian. Not into partying much, but not opposed to a drink or two. Very much into nature, relaxing, and activities. I'd be interested in watching Muay Thai for sports, maybe even take a class or two. I'm nervous about being by myself, but also like the idea of meeting people too.
