Can any one recommend a good location for a wannabe beginner snowboarder in Europe?

I'd love to learn to snowboard, only did it a few times as a child.

I'm not wanting y'all to plan my trip as I know that's not what this amazing community is for, but it would be so helpful to hear others' experiences.

I'm not sure how things are set up at ski fields in Europe, but at home it's a case of having transport to and from the mountain with free shuttles from the car parks to the ski fields, paying for a ski lift for the area you want to ride in. You can hire gear on the mountain. Accommodation is in expensive chalets on the mountain or nearby towns which are about 45 minutes drive away.

Now all of that is easy to organise and make economical when going as a group but I'm nervous about it being complicated and expensive while solo.

Has any one done a solo snowboarding trip in Europe? I'm looking for something that is easy transport wise, well priced (would prefer air bnb but hostels will do), and offers lessons in English. Bonus if you can suggest a country outside of the visa-free zone as I'm getting close to my 90 days!
