Hello! I’m on the beginning of a several month solo trip around SE Asia. I started in Singapore, Bangkok, currently in Chiang Mai. Looking for suggestions of where to spend the New Years. Last year I ended up in Hanoi during it and the city was basically shut down. I wouldn’t change the experience now but also don’t want to end up in a similar situation this year. Looking for anywhere that’s warm and open for general business. Where have you guys been for the week of New Years that was awesome?!
