Summer 2019 in EU
So here's what's up, between late June and early July I'll have a solid block of 23 days (a hair over 3 weeks) to travel. Last June I spent 2 weeks in Budapest taking it slow and enjoying everything at my own pace and ended up having a really fantastic time. I plan to visit again and this time I'll have my brother with me for about a week as he wants to visit Budapest. That's about as long as I plan to stay there this time around, and I'm wondering where else would be good to spend the rest of my time. I'm not really too keen on hopping from city to city every 3 or so days because I'd rather explore one place a little deeper than spend 10 hours (basically a day) riding a bus to somewhere else. So wherever I go I'd like to be able to set my roots for about a week, which would give me a good limit of 2 other places to visit aside from Budapest. I'm just looking for a little guidance here from those who have done a bit of traveling in this area. Which direction should I head? Mainly I'm considering Krakow, Prague, Vienna, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, and Belgrade. Some of these were pinned solely because of their proximity, so I don't know much about all of them. Are there any of these I should throw out entirely? Is there anywhere I may be overlooking?
