Hey!

I'm starting a solo travel next week and I'll have to do some long (7-8 hours) bus journeys between locations (from Budapest to Ljubljana for example). To save some money on hostels and to avoid wasting day time sitting in a bus I decided to take the night bus (that arrives in the morning). I'm not sure if it's a good idea though

Does anyone have experience doing this kind of stuff? I know it won't be comfortable, but is it safe? I'm only taking a backpack with me but I'm afraid it might be stolen or something like that.
