Recommendations for day or 2 day trips in the USA
Years ago when I had so much umph about life, I planned to live in every state in the US for at least 6 months. (Then I gave into a relationship and got comfortable at my job).
Then I told myself when I moved to Kentucky I would drive out to the surrounding states to visit at least once a month. Never did that either.
So now, I’m trying again. I have to work 3-5 nights sometimes 6 nights a week but can squeeze in 2-3 days sometimes of no-work-life. I’m basically hoping for suggestions of neat-o towns to visit and why, etc. I’ve lived in California, Texas, visit Florida and have seen enough of Arizona and Nevada so I’m not particular looking for suggestions there. But all the rest of the states I’m open to. So far the only thing on my list is Hershey In Pennysylvania and Niagra Falls. I’m hoping to go to Charleston in Feb literally just to see a theatre show I wanted to see but also just to mosey around the area too.
Don’t really have a budget other than I’m not getting into anything fancy, haha. Even hotels I’ll go for/to if it’s a unique one or old and hopefully not haunted.
