Recently went to Ukraine and did Chernobyl, the tunnels under Kiev and broke into a nuclear bunker - any recommendations for experiences along the same lines?
I recently went to Ukraine for a long weekend, primarily for the Chernobyl tour (which was surreal and fascinating in equal measure). I had a spare day so I thought I would check out the guided tour of the underground tunnels - this turned included a tour of a nuclear bunker complete with cold war relics that had been left to rot, it was an amazing experience and just as big of a highlight as Chernobyl. I also visited the micro museum - a museum dedicated to pieces so tiny they could be on the end of a pin.
All of this was so great and I was wondering about other places where there were similarly alternative/surreal activities.
