29 f traveling to San Fran, CA... very nervous!
Probably a common theme here but Im traveling across the country to make this trip. There are so many things to see and so that it's a bit overwhelming.
Here's my plan:
Land on Sunday.
Visit Napa Valley (and possibly Sonoma?) first for 2 days with my rental car. Hoping to visit Coppola winery, Stag's leap and a few others. Very open to recommendations! Also open to dinner reservations in this area.
Day 3: Spend a day hiking at muir woods (already bought my pass)
Spend the next 4 exploring San Francisco:
Day 4: Fishermans wharf, the market and north shore. Wanting to get authentic cioppino and dungenous crab! Also bueno vista for an irish coffee
Day 5 : Chinatown, Japantown and surrounding areas.
Day 6 : Mission District
Day 7 : ?? Maybe check out the golden gate bridge and the park nearby.
Any advice on what to see or where to go would be great! Im more interested in cultural aspects, music, food and outdoor recreation.
Im also concerned about transportation. I do have a rental car but i heard that's not the best way to get around town. How is the public transport system in San Fran? Where i am from we have basically no public transport so i don't know to much about it. Should i use an uber?
Thank you
