So I am going to be going to Ireland in September and I planned to start my trip in Galway and head towards Dublin where I need to eventually wind up for a Wedding. I'll be arriving late Thursday and will have about a week until I need to be in Dublin. My original idea was to sort of pub hop my way across the country, usually only spending a night or so at each location, but after some thinking/research I've realized that I might like to stick in one city/area for a while and really check it out.

I'm sure this is one of those questions with no right answer, but I'd be curious to hear some opinions.
