Hi everyone! I have a question regarding the end of my 5 week trip in Europe. Due to some recent and unexpected financial support, I have been able to extend my trip by about 8 days. I fly out of Rome to go back home regardless btw, so can’t change that. Since I already have flights purchased within Europe, long story short I am faced with 2 options.

1: Roundtrip flight for $100 to Athens, explore the islands as well. Huge history buff so this would be fun for me.

  1. Flight from Rome to Venice, then stay in Venice and Florence as I make my way down to Rome on the train.

Both options are amazing, I just want to see what everyone’s opinion is. Again, due to my flight situation I will be staying in Rome for 4-5 days regardless, the question is Athens vs. Venice/Florence. Appreciate it!
