Ireland 9 Day Itinerary
I found a killer deal that included airfare, car rental, and 8 nights at B&Bs. I purchased the deal for the first week of May and was informed that my first two nights in Ireland MUST be at a certain B&B in Waterford, the rest of the nights I can pick from any of their B&B locations around the country. Waterford wasn't initially on my list of places to visit, so now I'm debating whether to stay there and explore, or pay additional fees to stay at a hostel or hotel in another location. Here's my itinerary including Waterford.
Day 1: Arrive in Dublin at 3pm, drive the 2hrs to Waterford. Relax, explore by foot/bike, go to a pub
Day 2: Take a day trip to either Kilkenny, Hook Head, Lismore, or just stay in Waterford
Day 3: Drive to Killarney (anything worth seeing on the way?)
Day 4: Explore and hike around Killarney National Park
Day 5: Drive to Galway, explore the pubs
Day 6: Cliffs of Moher, and head back to Galway
Day 7: Drive to Dublin
Day 8: Explore Dublin, either Newgrange or Kilmannan gaol, plus more pubs
Day 9: Fly home
