Considering a solo trip come summer. Any advice for destinations/tips for a solo traveler?

Hello /r/solotravel! As title states, I'm thinking of going on vacation in the summer, and I'm considering going it alone. For anyone who's done traveling in Europe, do you have anywhere you had particularly good experiences with? I've been to Ireland and Spain in the past and enjoyed both (Dublin, Galway, Madrid, Barcelona) but might want something unfamiliar/new experiences

If I go abroad I'm interested more in meeting locals and experiencing their live culture, as opposed to museums/tourist attractions, so somewhere with good chance for social events and safe nightlife would be ideal, as well as possibly ideas for what to do/see while I'm there. Also, obviously, somewhere where me being able to communicate mainly in English (I'm Danish, know VERY limited Spanish and German) won't be a massive hindrance.
