Solo trip to Switzerland itinerary help
Hi all,
I (26 F) am looking to do a solo trip to Switzerland at some point in April next year for a week. I’m not a skiier and I am not a hiker (by this I mean, i’m not an expert hiker but happy to do easy trails as part of my day then go back to the hotel?)
I really do not know where to begin in planning my trip. Id ideally like to keep costs down but I understand Switzerland is expensive. I’ve had a search on threads here and it’s either Skii related or hiking related. I’d be going for photography related reasons. I also am not sure whether to start in one place and get the train over to others and hop about or stay in one place and take day trips instead? I understand that a lot of people definitely recommend Lucerne to stay.
Also a stupid question, but can you still get the lifts for scenic purposes (I know some close at the end of april) or is it for skiing only? Thank you!
Ps, it’s my first time ever in Switzerland if that was not obvious!
