Looking for recommendations for a place to go for 3 days between Berlin and Prague in Jan!
Hey /r/solotravel, I'm spending 5-6 days in berlin, including NYE, then meeting a friend a few days later in Prague, so I'm looking for somewhere to go myself to fill that gap.
I don't want it to be too far out of the way (unless it's really worth it), and I don't want it to be a place that deserves more than 3 days.
I'm a 20F first time solo traveller, and I'm interested in exploring nature, a little bit of history + sightseeing, markets, and meeting people. And probably other things that I haven't found yet!
My current ideas are
-dresden, because it's directly on the way. Haven't found much to do there though
-leipzig, ditto
-vienna, seen a fair bit about it on this sub
-wroclaw, but you may say it's better to travel the extra distance to krakow, since I want to go there at some point
-cesky krumlov, a small town in Czech. According to a friend it has really nice walks and sights, but not sure if it would be too dead and/or cold for walking this time of year. Other small town suggestions would be good too
As a sidenote, how do you guys generally decide on a city and what to do there? I find tripadvisor and googling things quite uninspiring, as most of the results are castles/museums/churches, which, though I want to visit, don't really give me a feel for what the city would actually be like.
